Okoro Villa offers direct access to an extensive network of hiking and mountain biking trails within the adjacent Sharlands forest area. Professionally fitted bikes (including e-bikes) and equipment can be provided for the duration of your stay.
A reasonable standard of fitness is recommended for the hilly trails.

Guided Fishing
The remote, gin clear waters of the Nelson region offer some of the best fly fishing in New Zealand for wild rainbow and brown trout. Okoro Villa offers full and half day drive or fly out (helifishing) packages with professional experienced guides. South Island river fishing opens at the beginning of October and runs through to the end of April.

Diving & Deep Sea Fishing
The Tasman region is famous for its natural beauty and exclusive private charters inclusive of guides, experienced crew and equipment can be reserved for fishing and diving trips exploring the coastal waters off Nelson, D’Urville Island, Tasman Bay, and the Abel Tasman National Park. Blue cod, groper, snapper, and kingfish are the most common types of fish to target.
